Security track to focus on latest game protection
challenges at GDC 04

March 3, 2004, San Francisco, CA.

Trymedia Systems will sponsor an entire track of sessions focused on the latest game security challenges at the upcoming Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Jose, California. The Sponsored Track: Security program, announced today, will bring together security experts with experience in a variety of game platforms and distribution models to share case studies, technologies, solutions and trends in game protection.

“In recent years the game industry has been more successful than any other entertainment industry in finding piracy solutions that work well for both content developers and fans,” said Gabe Zichermann, Trymedia’s VP of Strategy and Communications. “The GDC Sponsored Track: Security is designed as a forum for game developers to continue moving that effort forward.”

All sessions will take place on Wednesday, March 24th in room C4 of the San Jose Convention Center. Admission is free to all GDC attendees. Interested game developers can register in advance at www.trymedia.com/gdc04. The program, targeted to game programmers, business and legal industry executives, and Q/A testers will be as follows:
