Zylom and Hip Sign with Macrovision's Trymedia® Game Group

August 30, 2005. London, England.

- Macrovision®Corporation's (Nasdaq: MVSN) Trymedia® Games Business Unit announced the signing of European videogame publishers Zylom and Hip Interactive Europe today. Hip and Zylom have joined Macrovision's Trymedia game distribution network to have downloadable versions of their games distributed to hundreds of Trymedia affiliates including major online destinations.

"We are pleased to add Hip and Zylom to our global offering. The downloadable format has become part of the customer expectation," said Todd Basche, GM of Macrovision's Trymedia Games unit. "By offering both the technology and distribution for downloadable games, we make it easier for publishers to connect with new audiences all around the world."

Hip Interactive Europe game titles available in a try-before-you-buy format through Trymedia's network include action games Garfield, Gadget & The Gadgetinis and Stolen, among others. Casual game developer and publisher Zylom has already contributed more than 100 localized versions of over 30 different games in six languages, with more titles expected to be distributed through Trymedia in the near future. The first titles include such popular casual games as Bejeweled 2, Caramba! Deluxe, Cubis 2 Deluxe, Jewel Quest Deluxe, Mah Jong Quest Deluxe, Pastime Puzzles Deluxe and Zuma Deluxe.

Macrovision provides its e-commerce business customers with downloadable games content from a catalog of more than 1200 PC games. End-users can then download PC games in a try-before-you-buy format. Trymedia's technology solutions allow consumers to play games on multiple computers, backup and even share games with friends (shared content reverts to full trial mode).
