Macrovision Appoints New Head of Trymedia Games Division

March 15, 2006. San Francisco, CA.

- Macrovision has recently appointed Loren Hillberg as its General Manager of Emerging Business. In his new role, Hillberg is responsible for overseeing the company's Trymedia Games Division. He is also involved with the direction of emerging businesses at Macrovision.

"Trymedia has been a pioneer in online game distribution and it's exciting to integrate that expertise with Macrovision's strengths on the physical side as well as open up possibilities into new areas, including digital distribution," said Hillberg.

As a senior executive at technology companies for the last eight years, Hillberg has been actively involved in business development and corporate development. Specifically in games, Hillberg played a key role in launching shockwave.com with his previous employer, Macromedia.

Immediately prior to his appointment as GM of Emerging Business, Hillberg served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Macrovision. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and a J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of Law.
