ActiveMARK International Services enhance the ActiveMARK Store with added international commerce
features. The service is designed to enable the frictionless distribution of digital goods across
multiple geographic territories by permitting language, currency, taxation, payment method and
pricing control on a country-by-country basis —all from a single management interface.
Additionally, your product’s marketing can “speak” to the potential customer
in their native language through dynamically changing marketing pages based on the language of
the computer being used for the transaction. The country of origin (for tax and pricing purposes)
is determined by the IP address of the user via reverse-lookup.
Presenting marketing information and pricing in the correct language and currency can increase
your sales by as much as 16%.

Provides dynamic language selection on a per-title and per-transaction basis generated by
the user’s operating system language. As an example: a French-speaking customer will

- Global Pricing Control
Enables prices to be set on a per-country basis (displayed dynamically) and binds those prices
to a specific transaction. This prevents reimportation of goods from one territory to another,
and enables you to set market-rate pricing by country.
- Multi-currency support
Offers you seven currencies from which to choose (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, JPY, NZD, AUD) and
binds the currency automatically to a transaction based on the consumer’s IP address.
You may choose to activate none, one or multiple currencies and set individual prices for
each.
- Tax/VAT collection and remittance
In territories where sales tax/VAT collection is required, taxes are automatically calculated
and applied. Each reporting period, taxes are remitted on your behalf to the relevant taxing
authorities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
