The primary function of LWS is to issue licenses after an invocation command issued by your commerce server. Once authorization is granted (such as by validating a credit card or subscription token), LWS generates a license that is bound to the customer’s machine and customized for the specific SKU being licensed. This executable license file is then downloaded to the local machine and permits the user to access the application as specified without the need to enter codes, keys or perform additional downloads.
